Hello Greenville

SC, that is. Ronnie's hometown, where his parents and sister live.

Moving here -- our second phase of the move-back-to-the-east-coast plan -- marks the fresh start to this new phase of my blogging endeavors.

It's not where I'd expected I'd ever move -- pretty much all expectations have been thrown out the window since Cole came on the scene -- but it seemed to make sense for a lot of reasons. And ones that I'm a lot more excited about than the initial phase.

A quick note on where we are: We are somewhat settled, with a long way still to go, but it's already proving to be a good situation for us, with more space and family nearby. We seem to have hit an amazing number of little stumbles but we're working through them as we can and thinking about the big picture.

Cole is as bipolar as ever but seems to be enjoying the extra space to run around, which he's doing a lot of now, and earning a lot of minor injuries from. And his communication skills are sprouting up like our tomato plants. He doesn't say a lot of words but he says them a lot, and he definitely understands a lot more of what we say. Long way to go on that one too, of course.

Anyway, just trying to fill in as I can, without getting any further behind!

I'll bet! Although I do love

I'll bet! Although I do love the East Coast, this place is home to me, born and raised. If I could figure out a way to package and send some coffee from Steaming Bean, I would do it :)

Congrats on the move! Hope
